Ancient Grain Bowls
Add something old, something new, something simple and something complex to your 2020 meals! Antient grains are all of that and more! In this class you will learn how to prepare healthy, nutrient dense bowls that are packed with good fiber, colorful fruits and vegetables, and flavorful antioxidant rich dressings! Ancient grain bowls are amazing for breakfast, to go lunches or dinner.

Add more vegetable dishes to your meals, great for health, good for the planet!
Learn how to cook nutrient dense vegetables that are packed with flavor and color, and hold up well in the fridge. Whether you are an omnivore or vegetarian, these recipes are great as sides or hearty meals.

Learn how to stock and plan nutrient dense meals that are great tasting and easy to prepare. In this class you will learn how to start with a protein (fish, chicken, meat) and then use vegetables, fruits, berries, herbs and spices to make creative, quick, flavorful everyday meals!

Besides sugar and white flour, there are so many other ingredients that add great taste and flavor to a treat.  In this class you will learn about other ingredients that burst with flavor, and give your body health benefitting nutrients and good energy.

Homemade sourdough bread made from your own starter.
Bread the big no-no…How its prepared and the ingredients you use make all the difference! Baking bread takes some preparation and work, but there is nothing more satisfying than the smell and taste of freshly baked bread!  Sourdough breads also freeze really well.  Come learn how to make your own sourdough starter and bread.  Your body and soul will thank you! 
This class is not suited for those who  have celiac disease or severe gluten sensitivity.

From times and places far and near, the wisdom of ancient cultures is found throughout this class.  Ancient cultures knew how to prepare ingredients in order to maximize the nutrient benefits of the foods they ate.  They also knew how to keep their gut bacteria happy and healthy.  Today scientists call our gut “the second brain”.  Much of our overall health is tied to the health of our gut bacteria.  Building on the wisdom of ancient cultures and insight of modern science, this class teaches you how to prepare foods and ingredients to optimize your health and well-being!
